My Ever-Favorite 4 Person Tent
MY FAMILY ALWAYS GOES ON A CAMPING TRIP to the boondocks every year. We are looking forward to the event every year with great anticipation. The affair is the perfect time to catch up with each other. A moment of catching up together. And every year, our forever-favorite 4 person tent comes along with us.
Peace and quite reigns in our campsite. You are swathe in the tranquility of the place notwithstanding the number of hikers and campers that frequent the area. It’s like going to a place of worship. The place connotes serenity and peace throughout the land. Aside from the adventure, we visit the land, hoping to strengthen the ties of our family together.
Our camping adventure brings us closer together. All our worries, all the trappings of a city, are expunged from our minds. Here time stands still. All so different with the world outside where we are always rushing – running after time. We love it here. And our 4 person tent makes our stay here as comfortable as can be. It is spacious and can fit the four of us at ease. It is tough enough to withstand the harsh wind. When it rains, you can hardly feel it inside. The 4 person tent classic designs are perfect in the forest. It’s rugged features complements the outdoor scene. It is built for this. You cannot take it away from here.
Everyday there is a new adventure waiting for us. We rode the canoe just this day. We were drenched to the max, but we had lots of fun. The last time, we hiked up to the mountains. It was breathtaking up there. It feels like you could reach up and touch the sky. We cooked lunch there and spent the rest of the day exploring the woods. After watching the spectacular sunset, we finally went back to our camping ground.
During the night, we gathered woods and built a campfire. And what else? Of course, hotdogs and marshmallows. Later in the evening, we played hide-and-seek. And when its time for bed, nothing beats the sight of our 4 person tent. You cannot help but be drawn to it. You will fall asleep the moment you lie inside. So warm and dry inside. You will be surprised its already morning and you have slept the night away with nary a care in the world.
Back in the city – back to the rush of life. But this time we are rejuvenated. Our zest for life have come back and we are ready to face the world again. It was our break from the monotony of everyday living. We are definitely looking fast-forward to our next camping adventure.
What would be a good durable laptop to take in the Peace Corps in Central America?
I am headed to Honduras in the Peace Corps and need a good durable notebook to take with me. I can't spend more than maybe $1,500 but I need it to be pretty durable since I will be leaving it there (I will donate it to a school or organization at the end of my service). I don't want it to poop out on me, or especially them! Should I go semi-rugged or fully rugged on the laptop? Any suggestions?
Panasonic. Widely used in government institutions i.e. Police, hospitals and the Penal systems. Not sure of their cost but 95% of any electronics we can purchase here (U.S.) can be bought in Honduras. You will benefit if you can make your purchase there in Honduras as far as warranty, service, setting up your IP address and minor things such as your keyboard Span/English and ease of use for the locals. A 'Little Secret' in Nicaragua and I'm almost sure in Honduras is that you don't pay for Microsoft programs as we do here, they are "Third World Countries" it's a note of generosity/quasi stop bootlegging/copy right infringements plan. Note also you will be using their wireless/LAN or phone systems. If you are taking two laptops you may be taxed on one of them, a hefty one too.
Windows 8 Secure Boot: Calm down, Microsoft is simply copying Apple (Extremetech)
Over the last few days it has emerged that Windows 8 ARM computers, be it
tablet, laptop, or possibly even desktop form factor, will be locked down and
unable to run any other operating systems.
